Malden park concert barbecue set July 14 6/30/11

Musician Robby Thran and hotdogs will provide an evening of entertainment July 14 at 6 p.m. in Malden Park. This free concert is co-sponsored by Malden Fence Menders and Friends of Whitman County Library.

Rosalia and Malden Libraries will present “The Science of Ice Cream” at the Malden Library July 18 at 4 p.m.

Dr. Jacob Leachman, WSU assistant professor of mechanical and materials engineering, will lead an interactive program for young scientists to make a refrigerator out of rubber bands and ice cream with liquid nitrogen.

A program on coupons will be Monday, July 11, at 5 p.m. at the library.
