Lamont - Red Hat Ladies view Di Vinci exhibit at MAC in Spokane

Betty Stone hosted the Red Hat Ladies who drove to Spokane for lunch at the Elk Public house in the Browns Addition and attended the MAC’s Leonardo Di Vinci exhibit. Bea Butler, Jackie Brown, Diane Cook, Kay Dirks, Anita Frederick, Marcia Landers, Claudia Lowman, Jean Meyers, Shirley Miller, Pat Peterson, Mary Ruud, Claudette Sharp, Kathy Shields and Nita Vold made the trip.

Jim, Rene Polda and daughter Tori arrived Friday at the home of Nita and Matt Polda. On Saturday Jim and Rene attended the funeral of Keith Anderson in Medical Lake. Sunday the Poldas spent the day at Williams Lake swimming with dinner at Klink’s.

Jackie, Adele and Bowe Brown and Kathy Shields attended the funeral of Robert C. Brown in Spokane Friday. Mr. Brown graduated from Sprague High School in 1949 and was married to Dixie Brown of Lamont in 1957.

Patty and Sonny Ethredge of Spokane recently spent two days of their vacation at the home of Patty’s mother, Betty Stone, and visited friends in the area.

Saturday, Betty Stone and Ed and Georgia Bageant drove to Davenport to attend the third year birthday party for Elly Bageant, the daughter of Ed, Jr., and Katie Bageant.

Kathy Shields and Mary Catherine Ruud drove to Vancouver to attend the wedding of Mary Ringwood and Mark Firestone. While in Vancouver Kathy got to spend a couple hours with Larry and Carol Shields.

Don and Sherrill Nelson drove to Chewelah Saturday for dinner at the home of Gary and Paula Nelson.

Bill and Stella hosted a lunch for their guest Darlene Kelly of Rochester, Minn., July 24. Other guests were Betty Stone and Dean and Mindy Melville.

Last Saturday Bill, Stella, Dean and Mindy Melville drove to Bovill, Idaho, for the wedding of Ami Millsap and Bradley Dammerman.
