Pajama Storytime Under the Tree will be next Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 7 p.m. on the main floor of Colfax Library.

Whitman County Library will host a number of free public events in conjunction with the Forever Free Lincoln exhibit between August 23 - October 3 including: an opening reception featuring Whitworth University Professor James Hunt. Book Club events for adults and young adults; movie nights featuring Civil War themed movies and events for children of all ages. Summer Reading continues for teens and adults through Aug. 31. Briefly review three books at your local library in exchange for a beverage certificate. Summer reading completion forms can be accessed from the library’s website or by stopping in at any branch of Whitman County Library.
Whitman County Library will sponsor Everybody Reads Blue Heaven by C. J. Box. The popular, award-winning author will make an intimate lunchtime appearance Nov. 8 at noon as part of a week-long schedule across Southeastern Washington. Multiple copies of the book are available for checkout from the library or purchase from Main Street Books in Colfax.
