Last Sunday, Art and Colene Sager flew to Greeley, Colo., where they spent the night with Art’s cousin, Letha and Ken Hummel. Monday, they flew on to Lincoln, Neb., for the International Flying Farmers’ Convention. The event lasted until Thursday night. They started home Friday but had to stay in Deer Lodge, Mont., that night due to a storm. They arrived home Saturday.
Golden Jubilee peaches are ripening now at Warm Springs Ranch on the Snake River. Call Bryan Jones to make an appointment to pick peaches. Delft-Hale peaches are not ready yet.
Visiting Dick and Helen Appel during a recent weekend were her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Kenny Calvert of Enumclaw.
Lucky Myrick’s nephew, Wendell Myrick and his friend Eva of Utah, were Sunday afternoon visitors of Lucky and Joan.
Thursday and Friday, Tate, Rafe and their mother Amanda Carlson, Spokane, visited with Kim and Cindy Pitts. The boys came to ride wheat semi with grandpa.
