A full day of festivities is planned for the grand opening of the Forever Free Lincoln Exhibit at the Colfax Branch Library next Thursday, Sept. 1, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 3:45 p.m.
A special children’s history program is at 1 p.m. for kids with an appearance by Honest Abe himself. All American treats will be served.
Give the gift of life at the Colfax Library on Tuesday, August 30 from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. by donating blood. Schedule appointments at the library or online http://www.inbc saves.org. Priority will be given to those with pre-scheduled appointments.
Walk-ins will be seen on a first come, first serve basis. Photo I.D. required.
Families are invited for the final session of Pajama Storytime under the Tree in Hayden’s Corner next Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. in the Colfax Library. Wear pajamas, bring a teddy bear and cuddle up to some wonderful bedtime stories!
Play & Learn Play Group resume Friday, Sept. r 2 from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in the Colfax Library. This free playgroup is open to infants, toddlers, young children and those who care for them.
Whitman County Library offers programs and events for children attending licensed daycares and preschools countywide.
All branches of Whitman County Library will closed September 3-5 over Labor Day Weekend.
