Lentil fest recognizes parade pomp; Colville float tops entries

The National Lentil Festival Grand Parade this year had nearly 100 entries go through downtown Pullman. Elaborate floats, musical groups, specialty units and dignitaries took part.

The Grand Sweepstakes Award, the highest float award, was presented to the Colville Community Float. The President’s Sweepstakes Award was given to Pullman Law Enforcement.
