Fair opens four-day run of fun today

Palouse Empire Fair officials are inviting attendees this year to fall in love.

“There’s a little bit of magic happening right now,” said Fair Manager Bob Reynolds.

Reynolds and his helpers were working hard Tuesday to put the final touches on a dazzling four-day slate of attractions that will, as this year’s theme suggests, implore Mockonema visitors to have a “Love-A-Fair.”

The fair’s gates open to the public at 8 a.m today,. Thursday morning.
