Bulldogs will host tough DeSales team

The new-look Colfax Bulldogs will face a tough season launch Friday in their home opener. The DeSales Irish, non-league guests from the SE, will roll into town after opting to make a season start last week and canning a big 39-7 win over LaSalle of Union Gap.

Last year, Colfax won their opener when they rolled to DeSales and booked a 38-19 win over the Irish with a 20-point charge in the last quarter.

That came over an Irish club which was in a rebuilding mode after advancing to the semi-finals the previous year and being shutout by Colfax in the semi-final round.
