Idahoan electrocuted

An industrial accident at a rock crushing operation on Warner Road east of Oakesdale Tuesday morning took the life of a Peck, Idaho, man. James C. Husey, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene by the flight nurse from a Medstar helicopter which had been called to the scene. She made the pronouncement after consulting with doctors at a

Spokane Trauma Center.

According to a report by Deputy Vincent Waltz, employees of DeAtley Crushing Sevice were working with electrical lines off a generator when Husey came in contact with a line that was apparently still charged.

Whitman County Coroner’s office and the Mining Safety and Health Administration are continuing the investigation, Waltz said.
