Oakesdale novelist Amy Warwick to open sixth ‘Meet the Artist’ year

Amy Warwick of Oakesdale will open the sixth season of the Meet the Artist series Oct. 6 to talk about her first novel, “Summer Snow,” published in 2009. She will discuss the process of writing a novel. The book is about the lives of four women in a small rural town.

“I think there are misconceptions about women, particularly in a rural environment. Women are powerful. They can run a town from the breakfast table and people won’t even know it,” she commented.
