Swannacks, Hanson top fair’s 4H-FFA stock judging

Leah Swannack of Lamont won the Clint Luce Memorial Award for posting the top score among 4H entrants in the Palouse Empire Fair Livestock Judging contest.

The Garfield/Palouse team topped the FFA competition by compiling 1101 points. Carmen Swannack of St. John/Endicott and Seth Hanson of Reardan shared high individual honors with 291 scores.

Top scorers in the 4H event, which called for youngsters to rank groups swine, sheep and cattle, are as follows:
