Park Water shutoff set

The water systems at Whitman County’s Klemgard Park, Kamiak Butte and Wawawai Park will be shut off Oct. 10 in preparation for winter. This will include the water to the flush toilets in restrooms at Kamiak Butte. Vault restrooms at the butte, Klemgard and Wawawai will remain open. The county parks remain open year-round.

Water systems are turned back on each spring, usually in mid-April.
