SHIBA rep will help with Med enrollment

Open enrollment time for Medicare Part D and the Medicare Advantage Plans are now underway so now is the time to sign up or to make changes. To assist, Whitman County Library has partnered with Aging and Long Term Care of Eastern Washington and the Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors to provide the community with free, one-on-one assistance.

Enrollment for Part D and Medicare Advantage Plans must be completed before Dec. 7, 2011. Participants should bring a list of medications, with the dosages, a current prescription drug plan card, Medicare Advantage card and your Medicare cards.

SHIBA representative Marie Fowler will be at St. John Library - Oct. 10 and Nov. 14, 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m .; Endicott Library - Oct. 11, 1-3 p.m .; Oakesdale Library - Oct. 12, 10:30 a.m. - noon; Lamont - Oct. 12, 3-5 p.m ; LaCrosse Library , Oct. 17 and Nov. 21, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m .; Malden Library Oct. 19, 10 a.m. - noon
