Teade gets EWU scholarship

Alex Teade, a graduate from Colfax last year, has been awarded $2,500 through the Presidents Scholarship for the 2011-12 academic year at Eastern Washington University. This scholarship is awarded to high school students with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.8 or higher or an SAT score of 1250 or higher. Teade, son of Steve and Julie Teade, was salutatorian for the class of 2011 and served as secretary for the Associated Student Body. He played four-years of basketball, football and baseball. He is studying mathematics at Cheney.
