The 28th annual CROP Hunger Walk will be Sunday, Oct. 9 with over 100 participants expected to meet at 1:30 p.m. at the Chipman Trailhead on Bishop Boulevard in the Quality Inn parking lot in Pullman. The 10K walk will to through downtown Pullman and out along the trail north to Terre View and back. The walk symbolizes walks taken by those who must go long distances to find food, water, employment or medicine.
The walk offers an opportunity for individuals to raise money by asking others to sponsor their walk. Donor envelopes for checks and cash are available at many are churches or from Nancy Mack in Pullman.
