Tapestry dinner gathering marks farewell for group

Dusty

Saturday, the Tapestry Choral group had a farewell dinner at the Gladish Center in Pullman. The group is disbanding due to the loss of their current director and accompanist.

Twenty-five present and former members were in attendance. Of the original nine members who started with the group and still belonged, six were able to attend. One former member flew in from Alaska and former director Dale Forey and his wife Lynn, Sammamish, also were able to come to the dinner. Diane Monson and Linda Hennigar, who both started with the group in 1999, attended.

Linda Hennigar attended a deck party at the home of Joe and Sharon McKeirnan, LaCrosse, last week Wednesday. Approximately 40 people attended the event.

Art and Colene Sager attended a celebration of their grandson Kenneth’s seventh birthday in Schmuck Park along with approximately 30 people present. Kenneth is the son of Blake and Marcy Sager. The group enjoyed a Filipino dinner.
