Wildcats lead

SE all league list

Colton’s Wildcats landed five of the 19 slots on the SE Eights all-league football selections with senior lineman Jake Reidner named all-league for the line on offense and linebacker on defense.

Also named to the all league team for offense were Josh Straughan, senior, quarterback; and Jake Straughan, sophomore receiver. Named for defense were Nick Robertson, junior, defensive back.

Other all-leaguers for offense were Tory Knebel, Pomeroy senior, running back; Riley Hodges, Garfield-Palouse junior, running back; Vicente Flores, Touchet junior, running back; Tyler Morris, Liberty Christian junior, receiver; Jesse Koller, Pomeroy senior, and Matt Shute, Touchet senior, both line.

Also named for all-league on defense were Eric Hines, Touchet senior, and Morris, defensive backs; Austin Reisdorph, Pomeroy junior, Sawyer Hostetler, LW junior; and Ty Garbe, Touchet senior, linebackers; Nathan Cocking, Gar/Pal senior; Dan Can, Touchet senior and Knebel, defensive line.

Coach of the year honors went to Sanford Bates of Pomeroy.

Three Nighthawks

Three TOR Nighthawks were named for all-league honors on the SE 2B team were Tyler Hanson, sophomore, offensive line; Damien Loucks, senior, defensive back, and Will Dedic, senior, kicker and punter.

Jeff Bartlow, coach of the undefeated Waitsburg/Prescott team, was named coach of the year, and nine Cardinals landed all-league slots with Zach Bartlow, senior, quarterback; Billy Brown, junior, running back; Dalton Estes, junior, receiver; Cadman Donavon, senior, offensive line; Justin Zuger, senior, defensive back; Dustin Wooderchak, senior, linebacker; Eshom Estes, senior, defensive line, and Greg Stearns, senior, offensive line.

Other all-leaguers on offense were Hayden Fullerton, Dayton senior, running back; Luke Fazzari, DeSales junior, running back; Joe Duehn, DeSales junior, receiver; Wyan Frame, Dayton junior, receiver; Joey Schlachter, Dayton senior, tight end; Avery Hurst, Asotin senior, Mat Zimmerman, DeSales senior, and Alex Naylor, Dayton junior, offensive line.

Other all-leaguers on defense were Colton Bickelhaupt and Garett Turner, Dayton seniors, defensive backs; Ryan Baumgart, DeSales junior; defensive back; Nick Wales, DeSales senior, linebacker; Brian Westerfield, TCP sophomore, and Jacob Whittaker, Asotin senior, linebackers; Kroft Sunderland, Dayton senior, and Cody Koch, Asotin junior, defensive line; Johnathon Miller, Asotin senior, kick returner.
