Battle of the undefeateds: Bulldogs, Cards in rematch

Colfax and Waitsburg/Prescott, two teams that generated a lot of heat in the cold confines of a snowy Martin Stadium last year, will collide again Saturday at the same juncture this year, the semi-final round of the 2B playoffs.

Both clubs go into the game for the state ticket with undefeated records. Waitsburg/Prescott made an undefeated run through the SE league this year, and Colfax conducted a similar campaign in the NE league.

“We’re in for a real barn burner,” Colfax Coach Mike Morgan predicted.
