Families gather for Thanksgiving

Larry and Di Brink hosted Thanksgiving dinner in their home for Lucky, Joan and Rob Myrick, Mike Stine of LaCrosse and Kevin, Amber, Ashley, Kloey and Ellie Brink of Kennewick.

Loren Scaggs and his mother, Lorraine Scaggs of Colfax, enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner together at the University Inn in Moscow.

Kim and Cindy Pitts and Norm Bafus were Thanksgiving guests of Bob and Leanne Bafus and children Jeff and Samantha of LaCrosse. Sunday, Amanda, Erik, Rafe and Tate Carlson, Spokane, spent the day with the Pitts.

Greg, Gwen and Jason Nolan hosted Thanksgiving dinner in their home at Colfax. Attending were Oscar Broeckel, Brian and Angela Broeckel and Karen Broeckel, Dusty; Cliff and Jeanette Nolan, Colfax; Patty and Brett Wieber, Jamie Wieber-Forrest and Andrew Nolan, Spokane; Alex BeDell, Walla Walla; Ken, Pam and Austin Beasley, Waitsburg; Tony and Denise Kendall, Tacoma; Edmond Lai, exchange student from both Hong Kong and Shanghai, China, who is attending school at the Auburn Adventist Academy, and Matty Forrest, Gladstone, Queensland, Australia, W.S.U. student.

Amber Broeckel spent last week with her parents, Ed and Joan Broeckel, on break from Boise State University. Friday, Ed and Joan’s other daughter, Jen and her husband Anthony, arrived from their home in Seattle. Jennifer and Amber were candlelighters Saturday for the wedding of their cousin Carrie Lynn Pauls, daughter of Janice and Norm Pauls, and Jason Lovegren at the Baptist Church in Colfax. Sunday, Amber and Stephanie Lewis drove back to Boise. Jen and Anthony left for their home early Monday morning.
