Tolan trial set for Jan. 17

A Jan. 17 trial was set for Anthony S. Tolan, Colfax, after he pleaded not guilty Nov. 18 in Whitman County Superior court. Tolan has been charged with attempted first degree trafficking in stolen property.

The charge involves the Oct. 12 break-in of Colfax Body Shop on Main Street in Colfax. Tolan is formally charged with attempting to sell some of the tools which were reported missing from the shop.
