Wildcats take new spot as lead hoop pick in SE

Gyms around the Whitman County will once again fill with rooters as the storied SE League tips off another season of basketball.

This year’s action promises to bring a lot of changes to the tradition-rich league with Colton’s boys starting the season predicted as top dogs with lots of talent back from last year,

“I think Colton’s got to be the pick as we go out,” said Mike Jones, coach at LaCrosse/Washtucna. “But it’s Whitman County basketball. It’s gonna be a dogfight every night.”
