SOMEBODY STOLE my newspapers from my driveway on Thanksgiving morning which should have been no surprise since bad luck usually befalls me on that holiday.

I won’t go into detail over the previous Thanksgivings which involve hospital visits to the emergency room, storms that knocked the power out and such as that. I had no intention anyway of shopping on Black Friday using ads that made the papers almost too heavy to stagger up the stairs to the house with when my paper lady brought me replacements.
