Cardinals win first state cup

Waitsburg/Prescott Saturday dominated the 2B football title game in the Tacoma Dome for a 33-7 win over Morton/White Pass. The Cardinals finished their season with a 14-0 record and their first title win.

Senior QB Zach Bartlow, who dominated Colfax in last week’s semi-final round at Pasco, finished with a 14-21 passing night for 207 yards. He hit Dalton Estes for two TD scores.
