Youths in grades 1-4 are invited for “Holiday Fun” today, Thursday, Dec. 15, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Colfax Library. Kids may ride bus #5 with a note from a parent to enjoy stories, crafts, games and more. No need to sign up or pre-register for this free monthly event.

Whitman County Library Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 4 p.m. in the Colfax Library. These meetings are open to the public.

Kids in first grade and up are invited to a Wii Party at the Colfax Library next Wednesday, Dec. 21, from 1- 2:30 p.m. The library’s popular Wii games will be featured.

All branches of Whitman County Library will close Dec. 24-26 for the Christmas holiday. Due dates have been extended and the library’s website services including online requesting, renewing, Rural Heritage, Chilton Auto Repair Library and a live chat librarian will still be available at http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us.
