Colfax youth,17, faces another charge

A new charge of malicious mischief was filed against a 17-year-old Colfax youth Dec. 7 in juvenile court. The charge alleges the youth wrecked his mother’s laptop computer during an argument. The youth already faces charges of assault, harassment with a threat to kill and interfering with a domestic violence report involving another victim.

Deputy Prosecutor Dan LeBeau, noting the Colfax youth will turn 18 when the cases come up for a hearing, Dec. 7, also filed a motion to keep the cases under the jurisdiction of the juvenile court.
