Ronda, Brian and year-old Chloe Clark spent Christmas with Ronda’s parents, Norm and Gloria Erickson, and aunt and uncle Goldie and Al Foss. They stayed for a week before returning to their home in Surprise, Ariz. Also spending Christmas with them were their son, Drew, and his friend Courtney of Seattle. They spent two days with them and visited daughter Dana and Aaron Repp and sons Derek and Darin, also of Dusty.
Linda Hennigar spent Christmas Day through Thursday with her daughter’s family, Tami, Jay and Wesley Banks, Kennewick. They all were Christmas Day dinner guests at the home of Jay’s brother, Greg and Toni Banks and daughters Kaylin and Kelsey, Kennewick. Linda also spent one day with cousin Elaine and Dave Hogan before returning home.
Kim and Cindy Pitts welcomed their entire family home for Christmas. Carrie Pitts, Renton, arrived the week before Christmas and returned to her home New Year’s Day. Jen, Ryan, Kellen, Becket and Willa Hammons, Boise, spent a week with the Pitts. Amanda, Erik, Rafe and Tate Carlson, Spokane, spent Christmas weekend here. Cindy’s father, Norm Bafus, LaCrosse, joined them Christmas Eve. All gathered at Norm’s house Christmas Day.
David and Phyllis Stueckle joined the annual Gundar and Betty Aune family celebration at the Selbu Lutheran Church Christmas Eve.
About 40 siblings, cousins, etc., enjoyed the gathering.
Christmas Day, the Stueckle’s daughter’s family, Karen and Larry Light and children, arrived from their home in Portland.
Monday, they all went to Coeur d’Alene to celebrate with son Doug and Cheryl Stueckle’s family.
David and Phyllis got to meet their newest great-grandson, year-old David Jeremiah Stueckle, for the first time.
He is the son of Jonathan and Becca Stueckle, Dayton, Ohio, and grandson of Doug and Cheryl Stueckle.
Approximately 17 family members were at the celebration.
The Light family returned to their home on the following Tuesday.
Brian and Angela Broeckel and Alex, Sami and Graham spent Christmas weekend with her parents, Guenter and Brigitte Scherwinski and her sister’s family, Anita and Bryan Straw and children, Mountain Home, Idaho.
Spending Christmas week with their father, Oscar Broeckel, were Denise Kendall, Tacoma, and Doreen Riedner, Genesee. Their husbands, Tony Kendall and Tom Riedner, were able to spend the weekend at the Broeckel home before returning to work.
Christmas Day guests at the home of Karen Broeckel included Oscar Broeckel, Dusty; Tom and Doreen Riedner, Genesee; Tony and Denise Kendall, Tacoma; Larry and Lauren Broeckel, Hay; Cliff and Jeanette Nolan, Greg, Gwen and Jason Nolan, Colfax; Andrew Nolan, Patty and Brett Wieber and Jamie Wieber-Forrest, Spokane; Matty Forrest, Australia, and Amrah Canul, Belize.
Karen Broeckel joined the Nolan family Christmas celebration Monday at the Cliff and Jeanette Nolan home in Colfax. Also attending were Greg, Gwen and Jason Nolan, Colfax; Andrew Nolan and Khendra Fenstrmacher, Spokane, and Ken, Pam and Austin Beasley, Waitsburg.
