Crusaders win string survives Colfax test before big crowd

Finding an escape hatch in the hands of their outside shooters, the Northwest Christian Crusaders departed Colfax Friday with a 63-52 win to extend their season win string to 11-0. The Cru crew erupted for 21 points in the last quarter to regain the lead and take the win.

Colfax, led by a game-high 28 points from Justin Berarducci, paced the league leaders in the first half and slipped into the lead in the second half but couldn’t hold off the NWC outside game.
