Roberts resigns Colfax city council seat

Three weeks after starting a second term on the Colfax City council, Jeremiah Roberts Tuesday night announced he was resigning his seat on the council. Roberts said he was ending his city council career due to “unforseen circumstances.”

He then got up and left the meeting before the start of the business part of the meeting. Roberts ran unopposed for a second term on his seat on the council. He was elected four years ago when he also ran unopposed for a vacant seat on the council.
