Annual meeting of The Country Bible Church followed worship services Sunday. They have decided to help sponsor the Scott Edinger family which is serving a mission in Rwanda. Scott’s parents, Palmer and Betty Edinger, are members of the congregation. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Edinger have their three children with them. They arrived in Africa the first week in January and are getting settled into their apartment.
Kurt and Jill Reddig and children Savannah and Graham, spent Christmas and New Year’s with Jill’s grandparents, Stan and Jan Sneeden, in Wilmington, N. C. The Reddigs left Dec. 12 and returned home Jan. 6.
Al and Goldie Foss have moved into their half of their new duplex in Colfax. Goldie’s brother and niece, Gary and Anna Stueckle of Edmonds, drove over this past weekend to help with the move. They also were assisted by their son Mark Foss of Glastonbury, Conn., who flew out Saturday and was scheduled to return to his home Wednesday.
Larry and Di Brink went to Kennewick Saturday to meet their new grandson. Nickolas James weighed seven pounds, nine ounces at birth on Wednesday, Jan. 11, to Kevin and Amber Brink. He joins three sisters, Ashley, 12, Kloey, 8, and Ellie, 2.
The LaCrosse School Board met for their annual retreat at The Parsonage B & B last Friday.
Sunday evening guests of Lucky and Joan Myrick, were their granddaughter Desiree, Robert Duckworth and their baby, Broden Lee, Colfax. Desiree’s father, Rob Myrick, was also present. Broden was born Dec. 26. He weighed four pounds. 15 ounces at birth; he has grown an inch and gained a pound since then.
