Harassment charge filed

A malicious harassment charge filed against a Pullman resident, Husaam Aldoesari, 19, alleges he acted out of prejudice against Arabians. The Pullman police report said they responded to a report Saturday at 3:40 a.m. to an apartment on Providence Court. The alleged victim said Aldoesari, who is a student at the University of Idaho, and two others followed three Arabians in the early morning hours in the area of Valley Road and Providence Court after they left a Pullman smoking club. They told officers they believe Aldoesari is from Kuwait.

Aldoesari pleaded not guilty Friday to the harassment charge and one count of fourth degree assault. He was scheduled for trial April 16.
