Youngsters in grades 1-4 are invited to 3rd Thursday’s “February Fun and Games” at the Colfax Library Feb. 16 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Kids may ride bus #5 with a note from a parent to enjoy stories, crafts, games and more. No need to sign up or pre-register for this free monthly event.

All branches of Whitman County Library will close February 19-20 for President’s Day. Due dates have been extended and the library’s website services including online requesting, renewing, LiveMocha and a live chat librarian will still be available at http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us

A community blood drive is set for Thursday, February 23 from 2-5:30 p.m. at the Colfax Library. Appointments are being taken by calling the library or online at http://www.inbcsaves.org. Priority is given to those with pre-scheduled appointments. Walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first serve basis with photo I.D. required.

Whitman County Library offers programs and events for children attending licensed daycares and preschools countywide. Contact the library for more information about youth services.
