Swannack attend convention in AZ

Art and Jill Swannack traveled to Scottsdale, Ariz., Jan. 24-29 to attend the American Sheep Industry convention. Art is a member of the national executive board and is in charge of the Resource Management council, which covers issues such as public grazing, predator management and targeted grazing (controlling weeds and other undesirable plants using sheep grazing). His council heard reports on reform efforts in Washington D.C., U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s new plan for wolf recovery in the U.S., grazing issues on public lands and new business creation. Art is in his final year as an executive board member.

They took their daughter Carmen to Olympia to serve as a page this week for Sen. Mark Schoesler.
