Student team will unveil battle 'bot

The Sci-Borg Robotics team will host an open house at the offices of Digilent, Inc., in the Pullman Industrial Park Feb. 25 to show off its newly-built robot.

The robot was built by students from Colfax and Pullman High Schools. The robot will compete this spring in agility challenges and robot battles sponsored by the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology Foundation, or FIRST, of Manchester, N.H.

The students are led by a group of parents, 4H leaders and residents known as the Palouse Area Robotics Team, which formed last September.
