Colfax girls hit their groove for an amazing finish Monday night to take a two-point overtime win over a tough Northwest Christian team and advance to Friday night’s championship game against Reardan. The Bulldogs trailed by 11 points going into the final quarter of Monday night’s semi-final round and roared for 21 points in the last period to tie the Crusaders at 44-44 in regulation time.
They then tagged another seven points in the overtime to win by two points, 51-49. That two-point gap was the Bulldogs’ largest lead for the game.
