Reynoso boys compete

Valente Reynoso, eldest son of Heathermarie Heaton Reynoso and Jaimie Reynoso of Mexico City and grandson of Blake and Carmen Heaton, won the long jump competition Saturday in an invitational track meet in Mexico City.

He was invited to the meet because he is the top athlete at the school he attends, Lancaster School.

His younger brother Jeronimo, also participated in the meet as the second best athlete at their school.

Jeronimo placed second in the javelin throw.

Valente also got the lead role in a short movie to be filmed in March.

He’ll play the part of Bruce Wayne, Batman, as a young man.

He has had previous acting experience in commercials.

His father, Jaimie Reynoso, is a professional cinematographer and will be in Miami, Flo., soon where he will be filming “The Glades”, a series for the A & E television channel.

Di Brink and Joan Myrick spent part of this past weekend in Spokane visiting with their cousin, Camille Patterson.

Doug, Cheryl and Ashleigh Stueckle, Coeur d’Alene, spent Friday through Sunday with Doug’s parents, David and Phyllis Stueckle. Cheryl provided the special music for worship services Sunday morning at the Country Bible Church.
