Gar-Pal students get glimpse of Afghanistan

Garfield-Palouse High School Current World Issues and the U.S. History classes met with Shadman Bashir at the University of Idaho Thursday, Feb. 16. Bashir, a Pakistani, was the guest speaker at the University of Idaho’s Martin Forum. He is an expert on the tribal areas of Afghanistan/Pakistan border regions and has expertise in international security and unconventional warfare, Islamic law and international constitutional law.
