Retzer earns top WSP district honor

Trooper Jim Retzer of the Washington State Patrol detachment in Colfax has been named trooper of the year for District 4 which includes seven counties in eastern Washington with headquarters in Spokane and offices in Ritzville and Colville in addition to Colfax.

District Four Commander Jeff Otis said Retzer had a very good year in support of the WSP’s traffic safety objectives and was also selected for his dedication to the community.
