Suess duo to report on Jordan

Randy and Laurie Suess of Steptoe pose with a WSU flag outside the Treasury in Petra. They will present a travelogue on the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan next Wednesday, March 7 at 7 p.m. in the Norma McGregor Community Room at Colfax Library. Visits to seven cities, along with historical and biblical attractions were part of the tour they took last year as part of Randy’s trade duties as chairman for the U.S. Wheat Associates. They visited Amman, Umm Qais, Jerash, Ajloun, Medaba, the Dead Sea, Bethany-Beyond the Jordan, Mount Nebo and Petra. Suess taught school in Steptoe for nine years before returning to the family farm in 1985.
