Serving Whitman County since 1877
Palouse now has a council vacancy for position No. 1 after Mike Milano resigned in February to conclude six years on the council.
“I had some personal stuff to attend to, and I won’t be able to devote myself fully to the job so I thought it best to move on,” said Milano.
He will remain as vice president of the Palouse Chamber of Commerce where he will continue his work on economic development issues.
“The current city council is doing a great job. I’m just sorry I won’t be there to support them and city staff,” said Milano.
Interested parties may submit a letter of interest by April 2 to City Hall at P.O. Box 248, Palouse.
