New boosters launch for Gar-Pal

A new club has formed to bolster Garfield Palouse athletics.

The Viking Crew began over Christmas break with a project which brought the Viking Hall of Fame to the entryway of the gym. The group officially started last month.

Organizers began the Viking Crew for three main purposes, said co-fundraising chairwoman Angie Griner.

First, they aim to raise money for student athletes in need of equipment or participation or sports camp fees.
