Roles of Conservation District, DOE outlined at palouse meet

An informational meeting on the North Palouse River watershed was conducted by the Palouse Conservation District Monday night.

Ray Ledgerwood, program facilitator for Washington State Conservation Commission and Mary Rosen, district manager for Palouse Conservation District, spoke to a crowd of about two dozen.

They presented an overview of what the Washington state Department of Ecology can and cannot do.
