Serving Whitman County since 1877
Palouse Conservation District’s annual Whitman County Envirothon competition will be April 26 at Klemgard County Park. It is open to ninth-twelfth graders and is an opportunity for students to extend their knowledge of environmental science and natural resource management. The current issue topic for this year is Salt and Freshwater Estuaries.

Teams consist of 3 to 5 students active in environmental studies, agriculture, 4-H or FFA, Earth Services Corps, chemistry, biology or other related disciplines.
