Deer hit south of Colfax

Douglas E. Weable, 22, Renton, was unhurt Sunday evening when the 1998 Toyota 4Runner he was driving struck a deer just south of Colfax on Highway 195. According to the Washington State Patrol report, Weable was driving southbound at 7:25 p.m. when the deer jumped into the roadway and struck the front of the Toyota.
