Stine award to mother-daughter duo

Council on Aging & Human Services awarded the Jeanne Stine Memorial Award to two Joan Stockwell and Allene Brown, a mother/daughter team. Tbey have been volunteers for at least 15 years serving others at the Colfax Pantry and Commodity distributions. Their years of service and willingness to lead other volunteers are much appreciated. T

Joan and Allene know most of the people who come to the food bank, and treat each one of them with respect and courtesy.

The award was established in honor of the late Jeanne Stine and the spirit of kindness and service she brought to the agency.
