The driver had been transported from the scene before the trooper arrived. Jewell was driving southbound when the mini-van went out of control on the snow-covered roadway, crossed the centerline and rolled on its top.

—Nancy A. Hegg, 62, Palouse, was unhurt when the 2002 Dodge Caravan she was driving went off Highway 27 3.13 miles north of Palouse at 8:10 a.m. March 21. She was driving the van northbound when it went out of control on the slush-covered highway, crossed to the other side and crashed into an embankment.

—Brian M. Boyd, 24, Palouse, sustained head and neck injuries early last Wednesday morning, March 21, when he lost control of a 2005 Chevrolet Impala on Highway 195 about nine miles north of Colton. Boyd was driving the Impala southbound on the snow-covered highway and it went out of control, slid across the roadway and rolled down an embankment, coming to a rest on its side.

—Michael J. Ruiz, 37, Pullman, sustained neck and back injuries March 20 morning when he lost control of a 2004 Ranger pickup truck on Highway 27 north of Fallon. Ruiz was driving southbound at 7:22 a.m. when the pickup spun on the snow and slush covered highway, went over the side and rolled before coming to a stop in a field on the west side of the highway.

— A 1979 Ford pickup towing a trailer driven by John Grimsley, 27, Curlew, collided with the back of a 1997 Dodge Dakota pickup driven by Guy Goedde, 53, Uniontown, March 20 in Uniontown. Goedde had stopped on Montgomery Street to make a left turn out of the southbound lane, and Grimsley failed to stop in time to avoid hitting the back of the Dodge.
