Rosalia crowns Maddy St. John

Rosalia royalty for 2012 named at Sunday’s competition, from the left, included First Princess Haley Lindgren, Princess Heather Wilson, Queen Maddy St. John and Princess Brittany Terrell.

Maddy received the Poise & Appearance Award.

The Talent Award went to Haley.

Brittany won the Ticket Sales Award and Heather won the Spirit of Miss Rosalia Award.

The program followed a pirate theme with outgoing queen Erin Brown, First Princess Kristin Paulson and Princesses Josie Daniels and Kelsey Lindhag following a treasure map.

Malden Pirates were played by Briley Smith, Cody and Connor Fanara.

Spartan Pirates for Thornton were Jessica and Jayda Ford and Riley Terrell.

The outgoing royalty traveled to Pandora to see a special treasure.

Gensen Merritt performed a dance when she was presented by the Pandora Pirates, Cassin and Anna Pittmann and Gavin Merritt.

Finally they found the crowns at Fairbanks.

The crowns were “stolen” by Collin Pittmann and Lucas Engel.

The boys “stole” the crowns in order to spend time with the royalty before their reign ended.

Collin and Lucas serenaded the girls with Collin singing “Marry Me” accompanied by Lucas on guitar.
