Webber dubbed Colfax DYW

Lindsay Webber won the Colfax Distinguished Young Woman competition Saturday night to top a field of 10 competitors for the title.

Webber, who sang a soprano solo for her talent competition, also won the talent, self expression and interview segments of the competition.

Deanna Aeschliman, who won the fitness part of the competition, was named first alternate and will be the Colfax entrant in next September’s Miss Palouse Empire Fair competition.

She also won the spirit award.

Cacey Hall was named second alternate.

Emma Gingerich won the scholastic award.

Other second place winners were Taylor Lange, fitness; Gingerich, interview, and Aeschliman, talent, self expression and scholastic awards.

Paige Mackleit won the ticket sales competition.
