The Easter Bunny will make his annual tour of Whitman County, dropping multi-colored eggs all over the Palouse. Hunting season runs primarily Saturday.
Flooding may move the Palouse egg hunt from Hayton Green Park to the Lion’s Club R.V. Park as last week’s high water wreaked damage on the park. The free hunt is for kids ages up to age 8. The Palouse Chamber of Commerce and 4H are preparnig the hunt. Eggs will be filled with candy, money or toys.
Colfax High School’s CHS League will once again run the hunt for children aged toddler to eight at Schmck Park beginning at 10 a.m.
Endicott’s egg hunt will be at 10 a.m. on the grounds of Trinity Lutheran Church. Refreshments will be available.
Tekoa Chamber of Commerce will hold its Easter Egg Hunt at the Tekoa High football field beginning at 10 a.m. Children up to sixth-grade are welcome.
St. John/Endicott 4H club and community mothers will help young‘uns find the Easter Bunny’s leavings at the St. John city park at 10 a.m.
Rosalia’s Lions Club will hold a B.Y.O. Basket hunt in the city park at 11 a.m.
In Oakesdale, hunters 12 and under will hit the park at 10 a.m.
Uniontown’s Holtzer Park will be the scene for all-aged south county egg sleuths beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Pullman Parks & Recreation, Pullman Kiwanis Club and many local businesses will sponsor the 51st annual Egg Hunt at Kruegel Park for children ages 1 to 9 years old. Ages 1-4 will start at 10 a.m. and ages 5-9 will begin at 10:10 a.m. Lots of prizes, thousands of eggs and special surprise guests will be there.
Garfield’s churches and Lions Club are hosting the hunt at the middle school grounds, with prizes for each age group up to nine years old.
LaCrosse hunters, fourth grade and under, will be in action at the city park at 10 a.m.
Albion 4H is holding a hunt for children up to 10 years old which will begin in the city park at 9 a.m. sharp.
Farmington hosts the county’s only Easter Day hunt, with children grade six and under starting at 10 a.m. in the city park.
