Lentil festival again earns state awards

Pullman’s National Lentil Festival received a gold award for best promotion program, and a gold award for best other merchandise at the Washington Festivals and Events Association’s annual summit awards convention last week in Blaine. The lentil festival also won the silver awards for T-Shirt and TV/radio commercial, and the Bronze Award for Best Community/Partnership Program, all in the budget category of more than $75,000.
