Dunn-Gray to lead class on composting

Judi Dunn-Gray from Whitman County Recycling will share her expertise on composting April 18 at 7 p.m. in the Colfax Library. The presentation will be part of Community Cleanup Week April 16-21, an event sponsored by the City of Colfax, Chamber of Commerce and a number of Colfax organizations.

The free class allows residents to learn about yard waste, along with a worm composting system to recycle food waste that produces rich organic compost. Dunn-Gray inspires people to change the way they think about their trash, teaching them the many opportunities available to reduce waste at home and work.
